As a massage therapist and yoga teacher since 1989, I appreciate .the power of nature for our human health. Always searching for organic massage medicinals, herbal balms and facial products for my clients’ wellbeing led me to study how to create my own.
From the earliest days in my practice, I began spreading the word to my students, friends and clients.
Happy to share these amazing gifts with more people, Solavedi Organic Ayurveda Formulary was born as an extension of my service in the healng arts.
At Solavedi Organics, our goal today is, as always, to offer an extensive selection of time tested organic, Ayurveda-based massage medicinal formulas (some of which are potent trans-dermal herbal supplements to a healthy diet and exercise). Here you'll also find nothing but the very best aromatherapy skin care products for all ages and conditions.
I use the most natural and organic ingredients available and avoid 100% synthetic-derived ingredients when possible.
Every product is still hand blended in small weekly batches to ensure freshness and vitality. I am still present in the creation of every order, every formula and each batch of face cream, body butter or massage oil that gets shipped from our door to yours.
I believe that education is integral to healing and wellness which is why Solavedi's motto is
....."wisdom is our greatest medicine..."
I spend lots of time talking on the phone and in person with our customers. I want you to know why and how the product I made will benefit you, and in some cases, what ingredients to avoid in your particular situation.
Therefore, every ingredient used in each Solavedi product--down to the individual essential oils--is listed in order of its quantity in the final product. You will never see vague terms such as "botanical fragrance" in our ingredient lists. I want my customers to know exactly what they are getting when they purchase my products.
Solavedi is a labour of love. Its a small cottage industry...by choice. You'll find me, my daughter Molly, and 1 or 2 other friends working side by side in our kitchen and gardens morning, noon and night.
We've been courted by big order-fulfillment companies to take over the processing and distribution, but I'll leave that concept to others with more ambition. For me, Solavedi is still a personal practice.
