made with arnica and birch to relieve muscle tension and inflammation

How it works: Arnica is known to calm and move trauma upwards from the deeper cellular level.  In combination with the anti inflammatory and diaphoretic properties of birch, this function is enhanced. The supporting herbs include eucalyptus, lavender and fir needle extracts. Each plant is in harmonious synergistic combination with the others, which makes them more effective. Lavender aids relaxation, eucalyptus aids in circulatory movement, and fir aids in expansion of the circulatory effect.
Body Therapists: Keep a jar of this handy in your treatment room. It's very versatile and will enhance the good work you do. Originally formulated  with post-event muscle repair in mind.

Here is how I suggest the Muscles Massage Medicinal Balm be used at home:
1. Apply balm to any sore or strained soft tissue.
This includes the shoulders, neck, jaws, lower back, arms or feet.
Rub the balm into the skin so it is absorbed.
2. Next, apply moist heat. There are 2 easy ways to apply moist heat.
    A. Use a wet facecloth soaked in hot water, wrung out well, and lay it over the balm.
    B. Take either a hot shower or bath, and let the warmth of the water heat the balm oils.
Don't wash it off with soap.
3. If you have a spasm, this balm might need to be re-applied every 4 hours.
4. Apply a little more at bedtime and let it work while you sleep.
