You might consider this complimentary medicine path to support your journey as you heal specific problems such as eliminating impurities in the organs (doshas) or energy centers (chakras) and channels (nâdîs) of the body, which may be at the root of chronic pain, fatigue, and stress disorders. (Astanga Hridayam: If weakness or dis-ease is present one must learn how to revitalize & protect oneself, therefore, continued practice and training is necessary (shikshana).

You might also find these practices helpful for injury treatment & rehabilitation, offering progressing long term management exercises.(Astanga Hridayam: "If  injury is present, it needs to be rehabilitated ( yoga chikitsâ)."

You may book either a 30 minute or a 1 hour private yoga training with Carollanne here.
Once your payment is received, Carollanne will contact you directly to arrange the date and time that you want.

Here are 3 options for your practice:

 OPTION A  LEVEL 2
KINDLING YOUR RADIANT FLOW
: harnessing the power of breath in a flow

Technique: You’ll be guided through a series of connected postures in a Vinyasa style, beginning with the basic poses, allowing for more challenging poses to emerge based on your practice level.
Props are used to allow your body to fully achieve each pose comfortably.
Mind: You will explore the subtleties of learning to move more mindfully.
Body: This vinyasa, or, flow style of yoga is slower paced than classic Ashtanga and deep enough to connect you to your breath so that you may experience concentration within momentum—and even break a sweat.
Level:  This is a great session for private yoga students looking for a slow yet dynamic practice, or vinyasa practitioners who seek a change of pace as well as practitioners working through an injury or other challenge.

OPTION B   NO LEVEL

ABIDING PEACE WITHIN AND RESTORATIVE BLISS: your sacred sanctuary

Technique: Each rejuvenating pose is deeply grounded with props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks and will be held for several minutes while Carollanne applies healing hands-on massage, pressure point techniques and energy direction to your muscles and meridians.
Body: These luxuriously long holds influence the deeper layers of soft tissue offering hydration and release of compression in the  hips, pelvis and spine.
Mind: The processing found within these deceptively dynamic poses cultivates an active, practical meditative awareness. Sensations arise. Edge emerges. Sensation dissolves. Letting go happens.
Level: Appropriate for beginners through intermediate students. This is a great session for students looking for a more gentle experience or those who need some extra inner healing.

OPTION C   NO LEVEL
ROPE WALL YOGA: traction, suspension and inversion therapeutics
30 minutes only. May be combined with 30 minutes of another yoga practice.

Technique: We will work at the “yoga ropes wall”, specially equipped with a series of harness-like straps to provide support, traction, and suspension. Here you will be trained in specific areas of weakness or excess tension. Additional props including bolsters, blocks and chair may be utilized as needed.

Body: Dynamic traction is often beneficial for strengthening during the  injury treatment & rehabilitation process, offering carefully monitored modifications and progressing long-term management exercises which may or may not be integrated into your already established yoga practice.
