STUDIO PRICING:

Single Drop in                               $18     plus tax
10 Class Card                                $145   plus tax($14.50 per class)
20 Class Card                               $210   plus tax($10.50 per class)

Class Cards are good for 90 days from the date of the first class attended. 
Class Cards may be shared with family members but are not transferable to friends or guests.
Class Card holders may request a grace extension beyond the original 90 day term with a maximum of 2 extensions per 365 day period.

If a class is cancelled due to weather, studio closure, or instructor absence, your card will be extended 10 days automatically.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

DEEP GENTLE YOGA (Carollanne   Tuesdays 9:15 am)  Therapeutic aspects of asana are explored using props such as bolsters, straps, blocks, wall, aromatherapy and blankets, and each pose may be held for a comfortably longer time than in a "flow" or vinyasa practice. For: students of all levels, even no previous experience. Also good for those recovering from injury

YOGA BASICS (Dawn   Tuesdays 6:00 pm)  Practice from the ground up with a clear foundation and understanding of each posture, plus ways to adjust and modify according to ability. Detailed instructions, slower pace and student interaction encouraged. For: students of all levels, even no previous experience. Also good for those recovering from injury

RESTORATIVE + YIN YOGA FOR REPLENISHMENT (Tina    Wednesdays7pm)
In this class students will be encouraged to relax deeply in poses held for an extended time. Yoga props are incorporatedto provide ease and release in your connective tissues such as ligaments, bones and joints. Challenging while cultivating inner peace and quieting the mind.  All levels. No experience necessary.

YOGA FOR HEALING (Carollanne   Thursdays  9:15 am)  Welcome! Cultivate conditions for better health, starting with the inner experience. YFH utilizes healing imagery in meditation, gentle-to-moderate asanas (postures), breath regulation and direction, and therapeutic insights. For: students of all levels, even no previous experience. Also good for those recovering from injury

STUDIO CLASS (Ava   Thursdays  5:30 pm)
In this class, seated as well as standing asanas with pranayama will be explored in a variety of ways to encourage individual clarity, alignment and a playful curiosity. Specially dedicated Yoga ropes (suspended straps), chairs and props will be offered to increase the practitioner's understanding and, therefore,  achieve relaxation and freedom in the poses. STUDIO POLICIES
All classes  start on time.
The studio door will open 15 minutes before your class to allow you time to set up, wind down and prepare.
Please consider arriving early when planning your time.  
Latecomers may (or may not) be admitted according to teacher’s discretion,
out of consideration for the safety and the continuity of the ongoing class

Each  class is limited to 12 students/ 12 mats.

Regardless of whether you have a class card or are dropping in, space is allocated on a first come, first served basis. In other words, purchasing a class card does not guarantee you a spot in a full class.
Once class is full, the doors will be locked.

Silence your cell phone please.
Avoid using cologne and fragranced body care products please.

Studio Yoga Mats and equipment are provided for all students.
Please bring your own towel and water.

Driving Directions From I 95
Take exit 57 off I 95.
f you were traveling northbound, you will turn left off the exit ramp.
If you were traveling southbound, you will turn right off the exit ramp

Now you will be on Boston Post Rd (Rte 1)
Travel exactly 1 mile.(The sign for 2351 Boston Post Rd will be on the right.
It's large, and it's green with white letters and it also says "Granite Hill")
Turn there. This is a complex of business buildings.
As soon as you turn in, you will see 2 buildings in the front that face Rte 1.
Our building is on the right.
Point your car hard right, to the parking area for Solavedi.
Park anyplace.

Solavedi is in the center unit of that front building.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS
CAROLLANNE CRICHTON
Carollanne's roots reach deeply into the healing arts of Massage Therapy + Bodywork, Yoga, Ayurveda, Aromatherapy and Herbal Medicine Studies.
She is a Professional Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist (retired), Published Author, Professional Astrologer,
DVD producer/presenter, and NCTMB Curriculum Provider. 
In 2016 Carollanne opened Solavedi Studio in Guilford CT to offer personal sessions, group classes, intensive workshops, and looks forward to developing additional programs in "Yoga Off The Mat".
Commitment to personal practices of yoga + meditation are integral to all aspects of Carollanne's  journey.
Style: whether it be effectively zeroing in on your physical injury as a professional body therapist (LMT since 1989), or, supporting repetitive stress factors through therapeutic yoga modifications, or, meeting you in sacred space to honor your emotional experience, or, providing supervisory mentorship, Carollanne brings a deeply gentle presence, an astute and heartfelt  listening as well as observational perception to every class and personal dynamic.
Primary yoga influences include Swami Rama, Sri Swami Satchidananda, Paramahansa Yogananda, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Yoga for Healing: Cheri Clampett, Ashtanga: Richard Freeman, Teacher Training: Donna Farhi (guest teacher at Yoga Works Los Angeles), Advanced Tantra Training: Rod Strykker Himalayan Institute

TINA MARLOWE
Tina completes her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Saskia Bergman and Kim Valerie of Yoga Spirit Studios in June 2017. She has maintained a dedicated yoga practice for over a decade,  experiencing personal vitality and transformation throughconsistent practice. Tina desires to share the peace and expansiveness available through yoga with others in a safe and warm environment. In addition to her RYT, Tina holds a master’s degree in Education and Special Education. The emphasis of her teaching was with high risk youth.  Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine and herbology are newer passions.  Tina has immense gratitude to Carollanne Crichton, Sally Noel, Liza Doussan, William Hufschmidt and Josh Summers for assisting her to find her footing on her path and her wings in flight.

AVA TYLER
Ava Tyler was introduced to yoga 32 years ago as a dancer.
Her enthusiasm and dedication for the yoga practices eventually led her into a path of teaching.
Ava is committed to living an authentic yoga lifestyle, cultivating daily spirituality and providing service in the form of passionate guidance in all of her classes.
Ava's teaching derives from a core belief that the breath is the sutra thread which connects who we are individually to all that is universally and, that all great teachers remain students themselves.
Initially certified in Kripalu Yoga, Ava has spent many years studying various in-depth lineages of Yoga. Today, Ava offers an Iyengar inspired focus in her studio classes. Since 2003, her studies with Rodney Yee have also remained central to her practice.

DAWN SCHIEFERDECKER
Dawn is a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor, and is also certified by Jennifer Reis to lead Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra® and by Alison west/Yoga Union to instruct yoga with ropes and slings.
She spent 18 months training extensively with Lee Albert, and has completed professional-level certification in The Albert Protocol for Muscle Pain Relief™.  
Teachers include Alison West, Lee Albert, Jennifer Reis, Carollanne Crichton and Liza Dousson, which has enabled her to encourage others that yoga is not only possible for every human being, with regular practice it reunites life with balance.
