TUESDAYS  
KINDLING YOUR RADIANT FLOW:
harnessing the power of breath in a flow  (Carollanne    9:30 am- 10:30 am)

Technique: You’ll be guided through postures in a Vinyasa style, beginning with the basic poses, allowing for more challenging poses to emerge based on your practice level. Props are encouraged to allow the body to fully achieve each pose comfortably. 
Mind: Explore the subtleties of both effort and ease as you learn to move more mindfully.
Body: This vinyasa, or, flow class is slower paced than classic Ashtanga and deep enough to connect you to your breath so that you may experience concentration within momentum—and even break a sweat.
Level: Appropriate for all levels of experience, but best for those with some previous practice. This is a great class for students looking for a slow yet dynamic practice, or vinyasa practitioners who seek a change of pace

FRIDAYS  
ABIDING PEACE WITHIN:
 a slow + stretchy yoga class            (Carollanne   Fridays  9:30 am- 10:30 am)

Technique: Each pose is held for several minutes and is deeply grounded with props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks.  Meditation is incorporated throughout the class.
Body: Luxuriously long holds influence the deeper layers of soft tissue offering hydration and release of compression in the  hips, pelvis and spine.
Mind: The process oriented work found within these deceptively dynamic poses cultivates an active, practical meditative awareness. Sensations arise. Edge emerges. Sensation dissolves. Letting go happens.
Level: Appropriate for beginners through intermediate students. This is a great class for students looking for a more gentle experience, those who are new to yoga or those who need a change of pace, yet still have the option to take it to the next level. Also the perfect class for students with injuries or limitations.

Driving Directions From I 95
Take exit 57 off I 95.
f you were traveling northbound, you will turn left off the exit ramp.
If you were traveling southbound, you will turn right off the exit ramp

Now you will be on Boston Post Rd (Rte 1)
Travel exactly 1 mile.(The sign for 2351 Boston Post Rd will be on the right.
It's large, and it's green with white letters and it also says "Granite Hill")
Turn there. This is a complex of business buildings.
As soon as you turn in, you will see 2 buildings in the front that face Rte 1.
Our building is on the right.
Point your car hard right, to the parking area for Solavedi.
Park anyplace.

Solavedi is in the center unit of that front building.

INSTRUCTOR BIO
CAROLLANNE CRICHTON
Carollanne's roots reach deeply into the healing arts of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Bio Mechanics. As a licensed massage therapist (since 1989) Carollanne completed 4 levels of graduate study in Cranial Osteopathy with the late Dr John Upledger, bringing a highly trained orthopedic perspective into the remedial exercise and movement applications of yoga.

She is also a national level curriculum developer under the NCBTMB (since 1997) and published author (Konecky Publishing and Massage Magazine) and DVD producer/presenter. (Real Bodywork)



Her personal practice is Ashtanga inspired combined  with Iyengar influences. Her primary Ashtanga teacher was Richard Freeman. Intensive Iyengar studies were with Richard McLaughlin, Aadil Pahlikova, Arturo Peal. Yoga for Healing with Cheri Clampett.

Over the course of time, Carollanne has turned her yogic focus entirely towards the healing, restorative and inner practices of yoga combined with ancient Ayurveda, and offers deeply therapeutic experiences for her students.
