CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

RESTORATIVE COMBINED WITH THERAPEUTIC TOUCH (Carollanne + Valentina   Mondays 9:15 am + Thursdays 5:30 pm)
This class is a blend of yoga retreat and healing arts session: you’ll practice gentle, slow-it-way-down restorative yoga with an exploration of body awareness through nourishing, accessible massage/energy healing/pressure point contacts to
relieve stress and muscle tension. Let go of the burdens that prevent you from feeling fully present, alive, and joyful. Lavish in ample rest and quiet time. Emerge refreshed and renewed, ready to fully embrace your life

DEEP GENTLE YOGA (Tina   Tuesdays 9:15 am)  Therapeutic aspects of asana are explored using props such as bolsters, straps, blocks, wall, aromatherapy and blankets, and each pose may be held for a comfortably longer time than in a "flow" or vinyasa practice. For: students of all levels, even no previous experience. Also good for those recovering from injury

YOGA FOR HEALING (Carollanne   Mondays 5:30 pm + Thursdays  9:15 am)  Welcome! Cultivate conditions for better health, starting with the inner experience. YFH utilizes healing imagery in meditation, gentle-to-moderate asanas (postures), breath regulation and direction, and therapeutic insights. For: students of all levels, even no previous experience. Also good for those recovering from injury

MONTHLY FRIDAY EVENING YOGA NIDRA ( Dawn      Friday July 28   6 pm)
Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. While you rest comfortably in shavasana (corpse pose), this systematic meditation takes you through the layers of self, leaving you with a sense of wholeness.

GOOD MORNING YOGA  (Dawn   Saturdays 7:30 am - 8:45 am)  Come to your mat first thing in the weekend morning. This practice will help you to unwind, stretch deeply, shift gears and greet the day with a happy body and mind. For: students of all levels, even no previous experience. Also good for those recovering from injury

LEARNING THE ROPES + SLINGS PRE REQUISITE: INTRO CLASS (Saturday July 29   9:00 am - 11:00 am)
Once every month, there will be an intro class offered prior to being admitted in the weekly group classes at the wall.
Class size is kept very small. Reservations are accepted in these ropes classes. The intro class teaches beginners and practiced yogis alike about safety, mechanics and the ins-and-outs of the simple equipment, principles of alignment and suspension and offers the opportunity for individual attention and student-teacher questions. Perfect for anyone with chronic stiffness, compression pain and muscle tightness. Every class culminates in a restorative wall savasana to relax and release more deeply.

STUDIO POLICIES
All classes  start on time.
The studio door will open 15 minutes before your class to allow you time to set up, wind down and prepare.
Please consider arriving early when planning your time.
Latecomers may (or may not) be admitted according to teacher’s discretion,
out of consideration for the safety and the continuity of the ongoing class

Each  class is limited to 12 students/ 12 mats.

Once class is full, the doors will be locked.

Silence your cell phone please.
Avoid using cologne and fragranced body care products please.

Studio Yoga Mats and equipment are provided for all students.
