  Ayurvedic Massage Level I introduces the massage and bodywork practitioner to traditional theory of Ayurveda as it applies to the field of Massage Therapy, and is applicable to all types of Massage Therapy and especially valuable for massage therapists who provide spa services.

After taking this course, students will be able to add seasonal and dosha-appropriate Ayurvedic Massage services to their current massage therapy practice.
You will perform and receive Vata Specific, Pitta Specific and Kapha Specific massage treatment protocols which integrate Ubtan, Steam Compresses and warmed herbal oils, culminating in a sensory harmonising Facial Massage and Head Massage .
Students will learn about base oils, how to make herbalised massage oils and will gain an understanding of transdermal functionality on the whole body.
