FACIAL MASSAGE REVIEW:
Monday July 21, 2025
This Zoom call is a LIVE interaction with Carollanne Crichton LMT LE AyT
If you are unable to attend live, but wish to receive the replay link, no problem!
Go ahead and sign yourself up.
Cost: $18
DESCRIPTION:
Facial Massage has grown in popularity over the last few years as people seek more natural alternatives to invasive medical face lifting procedures, as well as recognizing the need for nervous system relaxation and a reset for the body + mind.
The entire face is an intricate web of fascia, muscles and fluidic fatty pads, in addition to non-fluidic, non-neural energy portals and channels that respond to touch and massage when the most skillful methods are used.
Most facial massage, although relaxing, may not be dosha and/or specific to the many layered systems present under your touch, including circulatory, lymphatic, lipid and trans-epidermal fluidics.
Skincare and Massage schools left these details out.
Until now.
FEATURES OF THIS FACIAL MASSAGE REVIEW
This is a Review. It assumes that you are already giving facial massage of some sort or another. Carollanne encourages intuitive touch and creativity and discourages rigid memorization, although a framework is provided. The framework comes from Ayurveda.
As a Review, Carollanne helps you assess your skincare practice, and how you might integrate Ayurvedic Facial Massage with Marma Point work and knowledge of the Dosha Zones into your services
Leave the tools home. Carollanne inspires you to practice Hands Only Facial Massage, rather than “Tool” driven massage.
Carollanne supports you in supporting your clients to massage their own face at home, as their educator
You’ll gain clarity about oils: Essential Oils in Facial Care? Yes or No?
(Actually, sign yourself up for the Facial Oils zoom)
Let’s respond to trends: Can Buccal or Gua Sha Massage Reduce Fat Pads and Sculpt?
Should Facial Massage be performed while the Steamer is on or off?
Should Facial Massage precede or follow a cleanse, a mask, or an extraction?
